| Advance Kids Advance Kids provides in home services to children with
ASD through: *The Autism Clinic* The autism clinic promotes the sensory, motor, communicative and cognitive skills of individuals with autism through a multi-sensory approach to learning. It is located on the Chico State campus and utilizes student volunteers as occupational therapists. *Little Red Hen* The Little Red Hen serves children and adults with developmental disabilities. It is a non-profit therapeutic plant nursery and work program for adults. They provide inclusion programs, swim lessons, early intervention socialization workshops and many other high quality programs for children, teens and adults. Parent *Infant* Programs Parent Infant Programs provides in home therapy, extended developmental programs, and community socialization programs in Shasta, Butte, and Tehama counties. Rowell Family Empowerment Rowell family empowerment is the umbrella agency for the family resource center, family empowerment center and parent information center. They serve individuals with disabilities and their families through *SLATE*, and the Spectrum support group. **Far Northern Regional Center** Far Northern Regional Center is a fixed point of referral for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It also provides Early Start services to infants and toddlers and coordinates community resources such as education, recreation, health, rehabilitation, and welfare for individuals with disabilities. Sunshine Kids Club Sunshine Kids Club is a fully inclusive program for children
with and without disabilities. It is designed to foster self esteem, empower
kids and promote advocacy and acceptance for all children. This is done
through dance, theater arts, outdoor activities and field trips, movie
night, mini golf swim parties, self defense, wheelchair sports and much
more. Handi * Riders The ARC of Butte County The Arc of Butte County is committed to securing the opportunity of all people with developmental disabilities to choose and realize their goals of where and how to learn, live, work and play. They provide respite services, adult day care programs, socialization assistance, recreation therapy, and family support services. They are also the home of the Rainbow of Kids Club, which takes children with disabilities on field trips to improve social skills. **Caminar** Caminar provides a community based recreational and social
connection opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities ages
50 and above. They are dedicated to improve the quality of life for people
with disabilities by providing opportunities to live with dignity and
independence. New Directions to Hope provides support and treatment for individuals with autism and their families including comprehensive evaluations, behavioral interventions, pivotal response training, parent child interaction therapy and family interventions. The autism society provides resources, information and a lending library to parents, professionals and individuals with autism. It provides contact information for local agencies, schools, evaluation centers, and recreational programs for Glenn, Butte, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Tehama, Trinity, Shasta and Siskiyou counties.
